Celine's Literary Salon

We are delighted to welcome Celine's Literary Salon all the way from Soho for an evening of spoken word, comedy and musical delight.

Celine takes her inspiration from the infamous Gertrude Stein and her partner Alice B. Toklas whose Parisian salons gained notoriety in the 1920’s.  Think a candle-lit ballroom, crushed velvet, potent cocktails and louche entertainment from the assembled gaggle of writers, artists, musicians and eccentrics.

Come join us for a unique evening of literary delight hosted by the naughtily divine Celine Hispiche.  Hear local literati and visiting wordsmiths.  Enjoy the standup comedy of Red Richardson, the genius poetry of Totnes’s Matt Harvey, irreverent songstress Lucy Lyrical and avantgarde poet Zata Banks.

Opportunities for aspiring writers and performers. Original work only.

Bringing a touch of bohemian nostalgia to the Barrelhouse and shining a spotlight on new writing and local talent.

Tickets can be bought in advance from the Totnes Brewing Co.

£12 OTD
