Magic Bus + support from Ulysses

Magic Bus (featuring Jay Darlington ex Kula Shaker/Oasis) formed in Totnes Devon in 2010.
They have released 3 albums to date: ‘Magic Bus’ 2011, ‘Transmission from Sogmore's garden’ 2014  and 'Phillip the Egg' in 2017.
The band have made many fans and friends at gigs and festivals around the U.K and in Europe. They have enjoyed great reviews at home and abroad and were recently inducted into the prestigious Prog Archives.
Last year the band had their first song in a movie..'Going Furthur'  a new film about the 50th anniversary of Ken Kesey's bus trip across America.
2019 brings a very exciting year ahead, recording album number 4, great gigs and top summer festivals lined up.

Love it, love it, love it!" - James Santer - BBC Introducing.
“Made by Wizards I reckon!" - Tom Ravenscroft - BBC6 Music.
“ Magic Bus always thrill in their own ingenuity, song craft and upbeat cosmic vibes. An album like this is really needed and they have indeed truly delivered.” - Jon ‘Mojo’ Mills
Shindig Magazine

“All aboard for a genuinely magical mystery tour.” - Dom Lawson PROG.

Praised in major publications from The Guardian to Shindig! and Classic Rock Magazine, Bath’s rock upstarts Ulysses deliver quirky pop delights and to die for big riffs with what is fast becoming Ulysses’ own distinct sound – a nether land between psych, glam and rock, guitar stroking and pop sheen.
Having toured with Rival Sons, Purson and members of The Black Crowes and currently making a new album with producer Steve Evans (Robert Plant / Siouxsie / Goldfrapp) due out early 2016, it seems that Ulysses have unknowingly brought their cheeky influences (Syd Barrett, psych-era Stones, The Cars, Thin Lizzy, Hot Chocolate, Supergrass, Sailor, Alvin Stardust and Paul McCartney & Wings) to the heart of the new rock elite.

“Lascivious rock “n” roll that cannot be denied” - Classic Rock magazine
“ A band to be nurtured, cherished and loved - that should be the law” - Powerplay Magazine
