“With the look of a tramp, the libido of a goat and the voice of a true romantic, we love him!" So said Time Out magazine. The magnificent and talented Wilfredo is an absolute feast for the senses who has been winning hearts and minds right across the globe of late: from showering the audiences of New York's late-night Slipper Room with lungfuls of love, to delighting over almost 20,000 theatre-goers at the Cape Town Comedy Festival. This year alone has seen him playing 'gringo-style' to the masses of Buenos Aires, in addition to serenading the peoples of Central Europe on a summer tour of street festivals and cafes of Budapest, Bratislava, Leipzig and beyond. Having made his British debut at the Barrel House in 2008, Wilfredo is - in a sense - coming home.
"Weird, intimate and wonderful" - The Guardian.
The Greatest Show On Legs are a surreal sketch group, formed by Martin Soan in the '70s alongside the late Malcolm Hardee (Godfather of alternative comedy) with a cast of ever-changing line-ups with Soan at the helm, which over the years has included Arthur Smith, Simon Munnery and Adam Bloom. Their signature sketch 'the Naked Balloon Dance' was first performed in Totnes and it catapulted them to national fame via late-night television's 'O.T.T' in 1982.
"A total lack of any sense, rhyme or reason to the extent that the insignificance of this show completely escaped me... The funniest thing I have ever seen!" - Clive James.
